the divine Kloovenburg Pastorie

My awesome husband has surprised me by booking us into the Kloovenburg wine and olive estate's 'Pastorie' for a few days on our road trip/ relocation to Cape Town in a few weeks time.

Their website is awesome, their olive oil was voted the best in the world, and I can't WAIT for their Sunday wine and olive tasting. Worth a day trip from Cape Town to stock up on yummy Christmas present treats. www.kloovenburg.com/guesthouse.html

You Old Bag

Last night as I scrubbed my label stamp with my toothbrush, I realised that being creative has surpassed Personal Hygiene on my list of priorities.

Rather than being worried, I just started to think of my next project:

The Old Bag.

In Kalk Bay and Fish Hoek I found these supercool old suitcases, the green one has the most evocative metal label reading..."for all travellers" ; so I am going to convert this into a 'One of a kind' handbag in the shape of an old doctor's bag, it will be perfect for someone with itchy feet…. Watch this space for process and finished product.

Photoshoot!

On Tuesday night I did a photoshoot for some of the bags I've been working on to sell on my etsy store. I LOVE the fabric I got from Skinny Laminx and Jezze prints to make some of them. Thanks to Jenna for taking the photos and Gen for modelling!
